Katherine si era gia precedentemente fatta conoscere grazie alla sua interpretazione da co-protagonista nel Telefilm Roswell della The Wb. Ma la sua carriera ebbe inizio già da piccola quando faceva la modella e recitava piccole parti in diversi film, nasce nel Connetictu. Debuttò in That Night (1992), Ma ha collaborato a tantissimi altri film come The tempest (nel 1998) o a film con Gerard Depardieur.
